How To Update 32 Bit To 64 Bit

Hello,

There is no direct way to catechumen 32-bit Windows 10 into 64-flake Windows 10, unless yous brand make clean install of 64-flake Windows x by formatting 32-fleck Windows 10.

Switching to 64 flake is only possible through a make clean install, which would remove all of your applications. It is only recommended if your device >4GBs of RAM,

The only way to get from the 32bit version of Windows 10 to that 64bit is to clean install the 64bit version

That will mean you would take to backup your data, re-install Windows, restore your data and re-install all third party applications . . .

You lot can reinstall Windows x at any time and information technology will not cost you anything !

Since you previously had Windows 10 installed and activated on that PC during the installation procedure skip the steps which ask for a production key and select the option 'I am Reinstalling Windows x on this PC', and activation will not exist an issue, your PC will take a digital entitlement stored on the Microsoft Activation Servers

Make sure you install the same Edition of Windows 10 (Dwelling house, Pro . . . etc.) you previously had installed to avert Activation issues

to download the Media Creation Tool (Click on Download Tool At present), with that you tin can download the latest Windows 10 ISO (Select Create Installation Media for Another PC), you can create a bootable USB flash drive (min 8GB) using that tool

And then, Kicking your PC from the Installation Media you just created (change Kick Gild in your BIOS) to begin installing Windows x

If you take problems booting from a kick disc, y'all may accept UEFI BIOS:

i. Making Sure Windows 10 64-bit is Uniform With Your PC
Press Windows key + I from keyboard.
Click on Arrangement.
Click on Most.
Check the system blazon, if information technology says: 32-bit operating organization, x64-based processor so your PC is running a 32-fleck version of Windows 10 on a 64-bit processor. If it says 32-flake operating organisation, x86-based processor , then your figurer doesn't support Windows 10 64-bit version.

2. Creating a Windows 10 Installation Media
Connect a USB drive to your system, the USB media must have at least 4 GB complimentary infinite.
Visit Microsoft's Windows ten download page.
Download the Media Creation Tool by clicking the Download tool now push.
Run the MediaCreationTool.exe.
Accept the license terms.
Cull to Create an installation media for another PC.
Click Adjacent.
Uncheck Use the recommended options for this PC.
Make certain to select 64-flake compages (x64).
Click Side by side.
Choose the USB flash bulldoze option.
Click Side by side.
Select the removable drive from the listing.
Click Next.

iii. Installing 64-fleck Version of Windows 10
Restart your PC with the USB drive continued to the system and start the installation of Windows 10.
Click Next.
Click Install Now.
Skip entering the product fundamental.
Accept the license terms.
Click Custom: Install Windows only (advanced).
Select and delete organisation partitions -- ordinarily: Drive 0 Partition 1 and Drive 0 Partition 2
Click Next and follow the instructions to install Windows 10.

Afterward the installation is finished, download the latest updates and drivers from Windows updates.
